Why Group Meditation Works
Meditating in a group enhances focus and connection. The shared energy of the group creates a stronger field of awareness, allowing participants to drop into deeper states more easily than they might on their own. Many people find that group meditation helps them:
- Feel more grounded and emotionally regulated
- Reduce stress and mental chatter
- Cultivate a consistent meditation habit
- Gain insight from the energy and support of others
- Leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more centered
Michael’s Approach: HypnoMeditation™
Unlike traditional meditation alone, Michael’s sessions combine deep meditation with elements of guided self-hypnosis—what he calls HypnoMeditation™. This blend allows participants to access deeper layers of the subconscious and unlock powerful internal resources for healing, creativity, and clarity.
It’s gentle, accessible, and incredibly effective—even for people who “can’t sit still” or have struggled with meditation in the past.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to bring anything to a group meditation session?
You don’t need much—just yourself and a willingness to participate. Some people bring a yoga mat, meditation cushion, or water. If journaling is part of your practice, feel free to bring a notebook for post-session reflection.
What should I wear to a group meditation class?
Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows you to sit or lie down without distraction. Layers are a good idea in case the room is cooler or warmer than expected. Comfort supports better focus.
Is it okay if I’ve never meditated before?
Yes, absolutely. Sessions are fully guided and designed to support beginners. You’ll be gently led through each step—breathwork, visualization, and stillness—without any pressure to "do it right." Everyone starts somewhere, and all levels are welcome.
How long is a typical group meditation session?
Most programs run 10 weeks, with weekly sessions lasting 8-10 hours. You need to complete 100 class hours with and expectation you will invest anotheer 100 hours of study and practrice. Each week builds on the last, combining theory, technique, and live practice so you’re fully prepared to apply what you’ve learned by the end.
Can I attend virtually if I’m not local?
Yes. Many group sessions are offered online. All you need is a quiet, private space, a stable internet connection, and a phone, tablet, or computer. Headphones are recommended for better focus and sound clarity.
What others are saying
"Michael has been my go-to for the last few years now. He's supported me through difficult life experiences (such as the death of loved ones) and incredible opportunities with my career and otherwise. He's also great for things like navigating the mental approach to your golf game. I'm a big believer in therapy, although I've found hypnotherapy to work best for coping and moving forward. I have friends I can talk with if I need validation or just need someone to listen. This method is about progressing with a new perspective/mindset and tools. Michael has helped me achieve what has taken months with traditional therapy in one or two sessions. And while I'm a huge fan of hypnotherapy, not all hypnotherapists are the same. Michael is really good. His approach is unique and effective, and he can help you tackle pretty much anything."
